The main contributor to this campaign’s success was their hyper-targeted mailing list. They purchased a consumer mailing list composed of veterans aged 75+ with income producing assets of $100,000 or below in a 3.41 radius around their business. The specificity of this mailing list ensured that every recipient would be receptive to their messaging and qualify for the VA assistance funding.
Their mailing schedule was also a major reason for their success. They mailed out monthly to the same people, once a month for 3 months. This consistency ensured their business made an impression on the recipients – the more exposure to a business, the better the odds of conversion.
